Google Maps
Until you have accepted the Preferences category, the website sends no request to Google Maps.
Once you have accepted the Preferences category, the map loads automatically. You can also choose “Show map” to load it once.
When the map is active, the browser sends data such as IP address and browser information to Google. Google may then use cookies.
Use of the map follows the Google Maps Platform terms and Google's privacy policy.
Measuring visits and appointment bookings
Google Analytics and Google Ads store cookies only when you have consented to the Statistics or Marketing categories. See the cookie statement for details, and to change your choice.
When you book an appointment, we record that an appointment was booked: clinic, price, whether you are a new or existing patient, and time. If you have consented to statistics, this is sent to Google Analytics. If you have consented to marketing and came from a Google ad, the clinic, price and an ad click ID are sent to Google Ads, so that we can measure which ads lead to bookings. Your name, national identity number, telephone number, the treatment you have chosen and other information about you or your health are never sent to Google.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
If you have consented to marketing, we use the Meta pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. It sends to Meta that you have visited a page with us, that you have clicked on a telephone number or email address, that you have sent the contact form, and that an appointment was booked (with the price). Meta may link this to a Facebook or Instagram account. We use it to measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. The basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), and you can withdraw it at any time in the cookie statement. Your name, national identity number, telephone number, email and the treatment you have chosen are never sent to Meta. Meta may transfer data to the USA and is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Google Tag Manager is loaded on every page view with the consent signals set to “denied” (Google Consent Mode). Google then receives your IP address, which page you are on, where you came from, and that consent has not been given. No cookies are set, and you do not get an identifier that allows you to be recognised on a later visit. We use this to count visits. The basis is legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit the website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). This also happens if you decline in the banner: declining keeps the signals set to “denied”, but does not stop the request itself. If you want to stop it completely, you can block Google domains in the browser or object to the processing. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
