Magnus is a positive and knowledgeable person from Stavanger. He has broad experience as a private-practice physiotherapist/manual therapist and has previously worked in Stavanger, Narvik and Oslo. In 2020 he completed his practice as a manual therapist at Hans & Olaf fysioterapi and has worked at clinics in Oslo and Narvik since then.
He has an active approach to treatment and rehabilitation, and assesses everything from back and neck pain to knee, shoulder and headache complaints. With his education in sports physiotherapy, he is particularly skilled in sports-related injuries and preventive training. He has a special interest in endurance sports, but has experience from a range of other sports, for example gymnastics, volleyball and rugby, to mention a few.
Competence is highly valued by Magnus, as two master's degrees testify. Patients can be confident that they receive correct and up-to-date treatment from him.
Magnus has reimbursement rights from Helfo, which means you pay a patient co-payment and can use an exemption card. He works two days a week at Behandlerverket Oslo Sentrum, and on the other weekdays he has his practice in Nordre Follo.
In treatment, Magnus Steinsholt uses:
- Guided rehabilitation
- Manipulation treatment/joint mobilisation
- Adapted exercise programmes and home exercises
- Shockwave therapy
- Sling treatment
- Exercise guidance
Outside Behandlerverket he is happiest on the move, whether on a bike, on skis or on foot.
